We are thrilled to introduce ISPO’s 2023 contest initiative to support our annual celebrations for International Prosthetics and Orthotics Day (P&O Day) on November 5th: Spread the Word, Win 2024 Membership! We believe this initiative will enhance the enthusiasm surrounding P&O Day.
The concept behind this contest is simple: we aim to encourage our current members to invite new individuals and/or former members (not current 2023 members) to renew their membership now for 2024 (membership would be valid for the rest of 2023, and 2024). In return, the referring member has the chance to win a free 2024 ISPO membership.
Here’s how it works:
- Members get a referral code: Current ISPO members interested in participating in the referral contest will need to sign up with us to receive a unique referral code via the following link here.
- Share the referral code: Participating members will share their unique referral code & the link to P&O day application form sent to them upon registration, to invite new individuals and/or former members to renew their membership now for 2024 with their friends, colleagues, network, etc., who can use it when applying for or renewing their ISPO membership.
- Referring members gain points for referrals: Points will be awarded to the referring member upon successful payment of the new memberships, as follows:
- 1 point for each renewal of a previous member (prior to 2023)
- 2 points for each new membership
- Determining the winner: At the close of the contest on October 31st, we will identify the member with the highest number of points, meaning the individual who has inspired the most people to join or renew their membership. This member will be awarded a free 2024 membership.
Key dates for the contest are as follows:
- October 17th: The contest officially begins.
- October 31st (Close of Business): Contest ends. All referrals must be completed by this date.
- November 2nd – 3rd: ISPO Executive Board meeting to review and decide on the contest winners.
- November 5th: Announcement of winner on International Prosthetics and Orthotics Day! We believe this initiative will not only foster a sense of community and enthusiasm within ISPO but also help us grow our membership base. Important points to note:
- Only individuals who have never been an ISPO member or individuals who were members prior to 2023 are eligible to use the referral code.
- Membership rates are the 2023 rates.
- There will be only one winner. If one or more people have the same number of referrals, the winner will be selected from that group at random, using an online random winner generator.
