ISPO Palestine was established in 2016 .

ISPO Palestine’s main drive is to seek international recognition for P&O in Palestine while creating a supported and recognized local society dedicated to Prosthetics, Orthotics and related professional fields in the country. ISPO Palestine aims to increase the capacity and awareness of physical rehabilitation in general among Palestinians.

Many international organizations provide training and support to physical rehabilitation fields related to Prosthetics and Orthotics and in the Palestinian Territories, but as an ISPO member society ISPO Palestine hopes to be better placed when gathering professionals together to maximize the effectiveness and outreach of this international support.
