Statement on COVID-19 Vaccination for People Working with and Using Assistive Technology
ISPO has released the statement that highlights the important role of all people involved with assistive technology services and the needs of these healthcare professionals, whether in the public or private sector, as well as the users who receive their services, to be included in early national vaccination plans.
Suggestions for Prosthetic Orthotic Clinics that must remain open during the COVID-19 Pandemic
ISPO has released this working document that provides guidance for people and organisations that provide prosthetics and orthotics services, and are able to continue serving people who require assistive devices during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The COVID-19 pandemic, also referred to as Coronavirus, has resulted in a global response.
The health and safety of ISPO’s staff, members, and supporters is the highest priority and the ISPO recognises the policies and initiatives ongoing in our member countries.
Therefore, please consider the following statements regarding ISPO travel and activities:
- All ISPO International-related travel is suspended until further notice.
- ISPO International’s in-person education accreditation activities are cancelled until further notice. Please contact the ISPO education committee for detailed information on the education programme accreditation during this period (education@ispoint.org).
- ISPO Head Office remains in full function, with staff working remotely.
